We've always wanted to pay tribute to the original Malaysian burger, the Ramly Burger. In fact we've attempted serving it once as a April Fools promo but it was neither here or there. Well, this time round, we did it properly (fingers crossed). First off, we need to work on the patty. It needed that Ramly taste but we can't justify using their patty as its way too dry. So we thought it'd be really cool to make a Ramli x mBL Beef Blend. So using our juicy RibEye cut to make u p for the lack of moisture, we made a 50:50 blend patty blend. The method chosen to cook the patty is also a fairly interesting one. We will be using two 60g patties and cooking it on one side only using our Ultra Sear Technique. The result is a thin, crispy but moist patty. . Now, we need to tackle the 'buttery' Ramly Burger taste. To those who has not observed their Ramly Maestro perform their magic, you'd often find them to be using a blend of Margerine, Maggi Seasoning, Curry Powder and Worcestershire Sauce. And that's exactly what we did. We buttered our top and bottom bun with a thin layer of that magic 'butter'. And yes, we added a bit of Mayo and Chilli sauce cause that's only right. πŸ˜† Next, we gotta deliver that myBurgerLab wow flavor. So, we topped the rest of the burger up with some Sweet Basil Sloppy Chicken, Green Salsa and a Seared Pineapple Ring.. So what we get is a Burger that is reminiscent of our first Ramly virgin experience only to be followed by the complexity that comes with a creative burger joint. We are only serving 250 portions of this exclusive Ramly Tribute Burger at rm10 at this weekend's Tiger Uncage Streetfood Festival over at The Gasket Alley. See you there πŸ˜‰

We're still high on the adrenaline from Artbox & Ayam Lejen, and we're gonna drive this high one more time this 2018 with the @tigerbeermy Uncage Festival at Tiffin Food Court this December 1st & 2nd. πŸ’ͺ . With the theme being Street Food, we decided that the usual myBurgerLab fare won't do, and so, we took inspirations from some Malaysian burger legends. After some R&D, the Ramly Tribute Burger. With 50% of the patty consisting of our in-house beef blend, and the other 50% coming from Ramly patties themself, paired with 2 slices of Cheese, Sloppy Chicken, Margerine, Green Salsa, Pineapple and the classic combo of Mayo and Chili sauce. The first bite is reminiscent of classic Ramly flavours, and then it's myBurgerLab uniqueness and complexity that takes centre stage. Oh we're just drooling counting down the days 🀀 . Baby bro myBobaLab will be there with us too, with the infamous Burnt Tiger Jasmine Boba 😏 . Plus, they've got something new with them planned for Tiger Uncage, and it sounds so goood, almost as good as it tastes 😍 It's called - The Pina Colada Boba Cendol. Available both in mocktail or as a cocktail, this dessert brings together Cendol, Boba, Santan, Gula Melaka & Pineapple Puree to create something so cooling and refreshing, you'll forget you're in Malaysia and wonder how you got to Puerto Rico 🌴 .
