The Yamaha Junior Original Concert was designed more than 50 years ago to give students of the Yamaha Music Education System of no more than 15 years a platform where original compositions could be featured. Creativity and the ability to compose music is a subject that has been carefully injected into the learning processes of the students under the Yamaha Music Education System. Through these years, we have seen countless original compositions featured at the school, national, Asia-pacific, and also international levels. It is only in Yamaha that such a progressive and all-inclusive learning experience is an exclusive privilege for students of the Yamaha Music Education System. Life in the new normal has caused us to take non-traditional approaches to showcase talents and we are proud to share the Yamaha JOC channel where 15 performance videos from the Junior Original Concert Selection International 2022 are being premiered during the weekdays, one composition per day, starting 17 October 2022. The compositions feature students of our Yamaha Music Education System worldwide. Through the performances of each young composer, you will be enthralled by the colourful compositions that are being expressed through each of the performances.
