Workshop: Nutrition from a spiritual worldview. This Chinese New Year, a few of us attended this workshop by our fellow coop Kongsi Co-op and Kongsi Academy. We discussed what is the true meaning behind food and the act of eating together with a few artisans, organic cafe owners, biodynamic farmers and also organic shop retailers. Everyday in our stores, we play a role to provide alternative lifestyle choices that are safe, nourishes the body and also bring added positive value to the community. Many of our customers that walk in to our stores are often after food that heals and nourishes. Could there be more to food and nutrition that just protein, vitamins, minerals and fiber?
