May 17 Tuesday Bunga Raya Band - Shanghai and Peranakan Themed Jazz and more Joyce Chin & Kelvyn Yeang team up to be the Bunga Raya Band. Joyce’s trained and effortless voice and unique multi-lingual delivery complement Kelvyn’s guitar wizardry making them one of the most recognizable acts in Penang. May 18 Wednesday Adrian & Mia – Contemporary & Pop A new duo in town. Both of them have been performing in different circles for years, and now they have come together as a duo. Expect popular tunes from the current top 40s and radio staples. May 19 Thursday Prem & Friends - Retro & Classics One of Penang’s most recognizable voices and performers, Prem’s showtime is laced with spontaneity and is always full of surprises. May 20 Friday Tonal Alchemy & Soo Ong – Smooth Jazz & More Soo Ong is a vocal coach and performer. She has been very active in the performance circles for many years and has an excellent delivery. Backing her is Wilson Quah, a veteran in Jazz Circles and one of the earliest Berklee graduates from Penang. May 21 Saturday Wild Marigolds – Modern Jazz Modern Jazz delivered with a guitar and a soulful voice by Jay & Wendy. Expect modern renditions of Jazz Standards and current songs. May 22 Sunday On Curfew – Contemporary & Pop Penang’s new kids are on the block. Possibly the youngest clique to be playing on our roster right now. Previously discovered from one of our Open Mic events. They perform confidently and are totally at home with the delivery of anything contemporary.
