Every day, across this country, there are Malaysians working to safeguard our living heritage. Join us to meet just some of them, and to listen to their thoughts and messages for conserving wildlife. Here is a message from Mohd Sanusi Mohamed of Copenhagen Zoo Malaysia Branch who originally hails from Kuala Krau, Pahang. "We have been conducting wildlife research, particularly on the Malayan tapir, for the last 20 years. When we began our research, the tapir was classified as Vulnerable, but today it is considered to be Endangered based on the IUCN Red List 2012. It saddens me to see the statistics of tapirs killed on our roads each year." "To all drivers out there, please be careful when driving. When you see Wildlife Crossing signboards, please slow down."
