#LOccitaneMalaysia continued its efforts to fund local eye care projects through the Caring For Sight Campaign Design Competition 2020 held in collaboration with @ucsiuni’s Institute of Creative Arts and Design (ICAD) early this year. . The competition aimed to search out the best design for a charity merchandise that will fund eye screening and free spectacles to deserving visually impaired communities in Malaysia. . At the same time, we raised awareness on how important it is for the students to care for their eyes and the damaging effects of using digital gadgets for long hours on their eyes. . With nearly 50 entries from the students, a third-year student of the Multimedia Design programme at ICAD, Kenny Ling EE Tak, was announced as the winner & walked away with a cash prize of RM1,000. . His winning design was chosen to be printed on the charity pouch that is now available (on limited edition basis) in L’Occitane online store and stores nationwide from 1 October 2020 onwards.
