LanzaTech technology produces ethanol from carbon emissions through a process of fermentation, just like yeast converts sugar into alcohol. This gas fermentation technology enables the conversion of carbon from industry, agriculture, and household waste. The resulting ethanol can be used to make the PET used in polyester yarn.
