Lion attended the Sustainability Day by Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Malaysia and Sunway Malls at the FARM, Sunway Pyramid.🌿 What is FSC, you might be wondering? The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is a non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting responsible forest management worldwide. FSC is widely regarded as the most rigorous forest certification system among consumers, businesses and NGOs. During the event, Lion's friends were given a farm tour, a detailed explanation of the Food CPR station where compost may be collected, and the opportunity to harvest fresh vegetables to take home. Lion got to bring some lettuce home to make salad for dinner, yay!🥬 In addition, Lion's friends attended Sunway Future X's 'Grow Your Own Food' farm starter kit workshop. The Eco-Friendly Farm Kit is an excellent method to learn how to recycle plastic waste and grow your own food.♻️ Lion also learnt from FSC Malaysia on the importance of responsible forest management and how choosing sustainably-sourced products can help create resilient forests for now, and the future.
