This marks the first championship triumph for Nissan since 2015 and also Team IMPUL’s first title in 27 years. Car #12 of Team IMPUL in the All-New Nissan Z grabbed second place in a dramatic final race of the season at Motegi which was enough to clinch the 2022 GT500 title. Nissan’s celebration was also doubled with car #56 Kondo Racing GT-R taking the GT300 title in the tense finale. The all-new Z also rewrites the history books by continuing the tradition of every new Nissan GT500 race car winning the championship in its debut season – succeeding the last four models. #GTR #NissanMalaysia #KondoRacing #IMPUL
