A throwback to one of the rare occasions when we bravely decided to put out a special food tasting menu at short notice for KITA Food Festival @kitafoodfestival in collaboration with Nadodi @nadodikl. Since relocating JungleBird about a year ago and equipped with a full kitchen, we have had the opportunity to get involved in several food related initiatives. For KITA in particular, we decided to stay as true to our ethos as possible, focusing on Latin and Caribbean inspired dishes, prepared and served using our own rustic approach. Some of the dishes served during the event such as the Caribbean Spiced Corn Gazpacho and St. Lucian Breadfruit Puffs were met with such positive feedback that they have now found a permanent home on our menu.
