[JUSTLIFE COMMONS WORKSHOP] The basic of forest management in Peninsula Malaysia The green lung of our country is disappearing each day. Can we as a rakyat make a difference? Our country is blessed with rich rainforests with high levels of biodiversity. We as Malaysians play a big role in protecting our land, forests, river and natural resources from over developments. We can do our part as a rakyat to ensure the sustainability of our natural resources by being more aware of forest exploitation and land development activities happening around us. We have invited Mr. Meor Razak, an NGO Field Researcher at Sahabat Alam Malaysia (SAM) to enlighten us on how to carry out forest monitoring. Mr. Meor Razak has been involved in giving training and educating environmental organizations, universities and even local communities on methods of improving environmental degradation.
