Our #WhiskyWednesday pick for the week is a blast from the past. Released in 2016, the Ardbeg Dark Cove Committee Release is matured in a combination of bourbon and "dark sherry" casks. While we can't really tell you much about the dark sherry, we can certainly feel the influence through the dark berries and sultanas notes. Of course, being a peat monster of Islay, the robust peat and smoke flavours are hard to miss.
