Sunway, through Sunway Money Sdn. Bhd., its wholly-owned subsidiary under the Digital and Strategic Investments arm, sealed a partnership with Wavpay to develop a fintech ecosystem in the areas of invoice factoring and supply chain financing. Wavpay is a licensed e-wallet company partially owned by the Selangor state government. Through this collaboration, Sunway Money will also be the exclusive remittance service provider on the Wavpay e-wallet app, with users able to conveniently transfer money abroad anytime, anywhere. This partnership aligns with the Malaysian government’s efforts to promote digitalisation and the digital economy, as well as reduce inequality, which is in line with advancing the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. #Sunway #SunwayGroup #Digitalisation #UNSDGs
