White Peony, also known as Bai Mu Dan (白牡丹) is a well known type of white tea produced in Fujian. Withered, air dried in the sun (or dried on smoldering fire), it is recognized by dark gray green tea leaves with silver buds resembling a White Peony. Upon brewing, releases a clear bright apricot color, with a natural lightly floral fragrance. Refreshing with layers of mellow earthy flavors with highlights of a lightly sweet delicate and smooth floral tone.
