The COVID-19 pandemic has affected people in various aspects of life. Since the announcement of the study and production of the COVID-19 vaccine, there has been many rumours circulating that the vaccine is unsafe for use due to its rapid production and several other reasons that have successfully influenced public views and acceptance levels towards the vaccine. Despite the high acceptance rate, it remains important to address concerns among hesitant individuals by building trust in vaccine safety and effectiveness through adequate information dissemination regarding the vaccine. Hence, the students from BA Hons Event Management and Marketing in Collaboration with University of Hertfordshire, UK will be organising an online awareness campaign on Covid-19 Vaccination topic which is; “Debunking COVID-19 Myths: Origin, Transmission & Intervention”. This event is targeted to increase awareness on the vaccine and alter the perspective of those who might still be in doubt to receive vaccination. This event also serves as part of community responsibility to support the government’s initiative to continue building trust in the immunization process among Malaysians. Additionally, a fundraising activity also is currently taking place until the event day to raise for the beneficiary; Malaysian Relief Agency (MRA). Kindly scan the QR Code to join
