This year's Group Project took the form of the TV program Dragons Den, where students invent or reinvent a product for a new business. After weeks of working together, the winning house groups pitched their ideas to a specialist panel and fought it out for the title of the 2022 Year 9 Group Project Champions. To impress our judges, the finalists needed to impress with innovation, marketing, design, and finance. Under a pressurized atmosphere of both peers and teachers, the competition was tight and tense, however, the Pinyu team of Jerome, Xing Rou, Jay Ern, Yancy, and Deshawn stayed professional throughout to win the inaugural Champions Trophy.
