Dear friends of Wizards, After many months of consideration, we would like to announce that we are looking for interested parties to take over Wizards and continue its legacy, as July will be the last month that we will be operating under our current lease contract. Wizards has seen four wonderful years, and the brand, concept, people and products have come a long way. It was started out by five friends in the F&B industry who took up the challenge of “creating a vibrant dining experience to service the Tribeca Residences, in the heart of KL.” But then the pandemic hit. With each MCO, we kept trying to keep our heads above the water. But being in the heart of KL and now with 1.5 years of no or limited dine-in, and with the disappearance of service-apartment residents, tourists and corporate walk-ins which were our main sources of income, we have to call it a day. Wizards is a brand that we are incredibly proud of, and it remains close to our hearts. The founders made this difficult decision after sustaining the business through the worse of the pandemic, using up our hard-earned savings and resources. Some of us also have new personal commitments to focus on, which will no longer allow us to dedicate ourselves to the business in the way it deserves. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, Wizards continues to have a very strong following and presence in the F&B world, as evidenced by its continuing recognition for excellence through various awards, reviews and articles. As such, we are sure that it is simply a matter of time before Wizards rises up again and thrives under the guidance of a leadership. For now, however, we must close this chapter of Wizards’ journey.
