Our school foyer was greened yesterday with donor gifts of mini-planters and upcycled handmade crafts created from preloved SJIIM uniforms! Making its debut was the SJIIM Upcycled Craft Sale featuring a wide selection of handmade crafts, bags and accessories that were developed by Year 3 and Year 2 parents, KitaKitar volunteers and the Korean & Chinese parent community. A fantastic total of RM7,680 was raised in just 3 hours, and all proceeds will be used to purchase essential drugs and medicines for the Children’s Hospice Centre! A big thank you to Years 3 and 2 whose booths showcased beautiful design elements done by the students and contributed RM3,220 and RM2,360 respectively. Our appreciation to all our parent volunteers who made this a successful campaign for MAPPAC.
