10+1 Multigrains Sourdough Bread Chef: I changed our 10G bread to become 10+1 Multigrains Sourdough Bread. Manager: What did u do to it? Why calling it 10+1? Chef: I used a new recipe to make it softer and added barley. Thus 10+1 = 11 grains. Manager: How much u want us to sell it? Chef: Same price at RM8.90. Manager: Errrr. Do u wanna reconsider it? Fyi, bread flour cost had increased by 11% since January this year. I received X times of price increase notices from suppliers and said seeing no end to it. Chef: I know. Cake flour is in worrying situation, about 20% increase in a few month time. Manager: So? Chef: We developed sourdough bread to offer a healthier choice for our customers and I wanna make it affordable to most people. Same price at RM8.90 at least for the moment.
