UTAR Centre for Corporate and Community Development (CCCD), in collaboration with UTAR Lee Kong Chian Faculty of Engineering and Science (LKC FES), organised a webinar titled “Introduction to Generative AI Tools - ChatGPT and Stable Diffusion” on 19 September 2023 via Zoom and FB Live. Invited to give the talk was HRD Corp Accredited Trainer Ir Dr Danny Ng Wee Kiat, who is also a lecturer at LKC FES. The objective of the talk was to introduce participants to the concept of AI-generated content and offer them insights into how these tools are utilised to transform industries. Dr Danny specialises in the field of robotics and its practical applications. He completed his PhD in Engineering in 2021. Since 2019, he has been a registered professional engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia. He actively engages in industry-focused research, and collaborations with notable companies such as TF AMD Microelectronics Sdn Bhd and Greatech Berhad. He also provides consulting services to MIMOS Berhad, Malaysia’s National Applied R&D Centre, specifically in robot development.
