They’re known for being one of the few cafes that serves one of the best coffee in Singapore amongst the range of coffee joints there. With the courtesy of their sister brand, Common Man Coffee Roasters, they’ve made the quality Third Wave Coffee standard accessible to all.

#Fact: Third Wave is basically a movement where coffee drinkers learn to pay more attention to and respect the style of coffee, rather than just seeing it as just a kind of drink.

Now back to the cafe! Besides the oh-so-amazing coffee, Forty Hands is also filled with a great selection of specialties in their menu with the choice of an all day breakfast, toasties, salads and more.

Chilli Scram (RM25), the chilli infused free-range creamy scrambled eggs furnished with chilli flakes, added an extra kick to the unusual yet yummy spicy scrambled eggs. The dish was accompanied by wild mushrooms and salad with a hint of aged balsamic on a homemade sunflower seed toast.

The must eat, our ultimate favorite - 40 Hands Cubanos (RM28), one of their toasties specials. The sandwich consists of mojo-marinated roast pork, honey-smoked ham, jalapenos, gherkins, parmesan cheese, laid with mayonnaise and English mustard on a crusty baguette with a choice to be served with either fries or salad. The hint of spiciness that came from the jalapenos made it extra appetizing to eat and no, we’re not just hungry but it was really that good!

Well, Forty Hands is not only good for all things savoury, but also the combination of savoury and sweet. The Banana Bacon French Toast (RM20) is made with brioche, caramelised banana and streaky pork bacon drizzled with maple syrup. Everyone loves french toast and bacon, especially bacon. So why not combine the two, right? The bacon was crispy, french toast was yummy and not to egg-y. However, the caramelized banana was a little too sweet and overpowered the taste of bacon but it was nonetheless still a great dish.

Let us tell you one thing, it is a must to at least give Forty Hands a try! The dishes that they serve were well-thought with great combination of flavours. We’ll definitely pay another visit again soon!
