For people who loves spicy food, the Chicken Hot Pot (RM10.90) is the one to go for. It consists of delicious pulled chicken, vegetables, spicy fragrant basmati rice, and tying all of it together is the cataplana sauce which gave the dish an explosion of spicy and appetizingly sour flavours.
Fun fact: The term ‘cataplana’ is well known to have originated in Algarve, Portugal; a cookware to prepare Portuguese dishes!
Up next we tried the Chicken Trinchado (also RM10.90). Chicken what? Well, it’s grilled chicken tenders cooked in a special sauce (it’s their secret recipe, they’re not tellin’ us anything.), served with Mediterranean rice.
We might have possibly found our new favourite comfort food in this Chicken Trinchado.
For old time’s sake, we also ordered one of our all-time favourites, the Butterfly Chicken! Just in case if you’ve never tried before, it’s a succulent butterfly-cut chicken breast, marinated with Nando’s signature Peri-Peri sauce, and flamed-grilled to juicy, tender, sizzling perfection.
